John Gooden | The Walk | Music Video | Canon 5D Mark III www.todaysbeats.net http Learn To Produce Your Own Music Videos coming soon John Gooden | The Walk | Music Video Canon 5D Mark III Film Look Adobe After Effects This is the first excerpt of a new music video I've been working on for a friend of mine and recording artist / hair stylist from Detroit "John Gooden" he's known for doing hair for Patty Labelle, Whitney Houston, Aaliyah, Lil Kim, Vicki Winans, Clark Sisters, and a host of other major stars and celebrities. Canon DSLR Camera: I shot this using a simple Canon T2i. I used a Rokinon Fish-eye lens for down-shot closeups, Canon 18-55mm for wide angles, Canon 85mm 1.8f for extreme close-ups, and Canon 50mm 1.4f for medium shots. It was all shot on a ChromaKey green screen canvas backdrop and all footage was treated with special effects in Adobe After Effects CS 5.5 and footage was brought into Adobe Premiere CS 5.5 for complete editing. Lighting: It was lit with 2000 watts on the green screen and 2000 soft box white left and right keys on artist and dancers, with one 600 watt hot light rim light behind each subject. I used motionloops for the letter-boxing and Video Copilot for the sparks and explosions. I used Plexus for the 3D wire-frame during the Finger Tutting animation on the dancers. (Finger Tut animation was very tedious, each frame was animated due to no pre-tracking device on dancers.
